Private Well Users
Well Water Users should test their water regularly to ensure clean quality water.
Minnesota and Wisconsin Department of Health recommends well users test their well water annually for Coliform Bacteria, and every other year for Nitrates. In addition, Public Health Officials also recommend that if there are infants in the home the water should also be tested for Nitrates annually.
If you are purchasing a home or if your water quality hasn't been tested for a while, we recommend that you schedule a well water quality test right away.
All Private Well Users, at the minimum, should check for Coliform Bacteria every year, and every other year for Nitrates.
